Job Title: Surgical Technologist

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join their team in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to assist with surgical operations in a hospital or outpatient surgery center setting.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room, surgical tools, and equipment for procedures
  • Assist nurses and surgeons with scrubbing in and maintaining sterile conditions
  • Help with equipment during surgery and clean the OR after procedures
  • Transport patients to and from surgery
  • Play a critical role in preventing illness, providing moral support, promoting health and wellness, and educating patients and families
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • Trauma Experience preferred, not required
  • Travel experience preferred, not required
