Key Responsibilities
  • Assist classroom teachers in implementing the Direct Instruction Curriculum and providing instructional support to students.
  • Help maintain student records and communicate student progress to parents and guardians.
  • Participate in lesson planning and delivery, ensuring a clear and consistent approach to teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement a behavior management system that promotes a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Engage with students, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and foster a sense of community.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices in education.
Requirements
  • At least 48 college hours or an Associate degree required.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience working with children in a classroom or volunteer setting.
  • Ability to instruct students and manage student behavior.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate ranging between $14.00 for 0 years of experience and $17.40.
  • Paid Family Leave: Eligible staff may receive up to 8 weeks of paid leave for the birth or adoption of a child.
