The Home Sales Manager collaborates closely with the Store Manager and is pivotal to the organization's success. We are looking for a motivated, determined, and versatile professional for this full-time, benefited position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Talent Development
- Participates in the recruitment process for store personnel.
- Actively nurtures and promotes team members for advancement opportunities.
- Identifies skill gaps and collaborates with the Store Manager on hiring decisions.
- Inspires and motivates team members by demonstrating core values consistently.
- Recognizes and celebrates both individual and team successes.
- Facilitates training and development initiatives for direct reports.
- Maintains an open-door policy for team members to voice concerns and suggestions.
Operational Excellence
- Works alongside the Store Manager to implement company strategies effectively, driving results and maximizing opportunities.
- Manages time efficiently to balance various responsibilities.
- Provides training and guidance on store operating procedures to the sales team.
- Ensures accountability for timelines, deadlines, and compliance standards among team members.
Business Growth
- Drives sales performance and maximizes business opportunities within the assigned scope.
- Coaches and trains staff on effective selling techniques, fostering positive customer interactions.
- Manages personal and team schedules effectively.
- Focuses on profitability and expense management.
- Monitors scheduling and payroll responsibilities.
- Ensures accountability for achieving all performance metrics.
- Assists the Store Manager in enforcing updates to company policies and procedures.
Merchandising Standards
- Ensures the effective execution of visual merchandising and marketing initiatives.
- Maintains a keen eye for visual presentation, cleanliness, and customer-facing standards.
- Provides timely feedback on merchandising successes and areas for improvement.
- Addresses customer and associate inquiries regarding products promptly.
Additional Duties
- Availability to work the required schedule.
- Ensures compliance with the company's Dress Code Guidelines.
- Adheres to all relevant labor laws.
