Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in the financial management and reporting for Grande | RCN | Wave. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance - Business Solutions, this position is essential for overseeing financial metrics and ensuring accurate commission management, forecasting, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage commission documentation and oversee the distribution of all existing and forthcoming Business Solutions Commission Compensation plans.
  • Prepare and facilitate daily financial and KPI reporting updates.
  • Support P&L analysis and month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Administer commission calculations, payout timelines, and the upkeep of commission management software.
  • Oversee all components of the financial closing process, including forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Manage user access and plans within the Commissions Software Application.
  • Employ financial analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Hyperion for data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Facilitate AP Invoice Management systems and processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience in the telecommunications sector is preferred.
  • Proficient in interpreting and executing commission plans.
  • Strong skills in P&L and variance analysis.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly to all levels of staff and external parties.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with database management tools such as Access and SQL is required.
  • Experience with Great Plains, Hyperion, and VBA is advantageous.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
