Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at West Fraser. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to load and unload materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily inspections of lift trucks and complete required forms
Ensure lift truck maintenance and servicing requirements are met
Load and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner
Check load contents for accuracy and secure materials
Ensure all products are shipped on schedule
Maintain contact with supervisors and resolve any issues that may arise
Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures

Requirements:

Preferred valid forklift certification
Minimum two years of experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desire to learn, grow, and succeed
Industrial experience and post-secondary education considered an asset
Strong commitment to working safely
Ability to work rotating shifts
