Senior Mechanical Maintenance Manager

About the Job

The Senior Mechanical Maintenance Manager will oversee the technical training of the team, defect handling system, and execution of the 52-week plan from the COE. This individual will actively participate in annual planning, weekly PDCA meetings, and daily level 2 meetings. The role requires coaching and developing the maintenance capability of teams by serving as a technical coach and resource.

The Senior Mechanical Maintenance Manager will cover all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and preventative types of maintenance on various production machinery. This includes troubleshooting, reading electrical prints, and performing basic wiring up to 480 volts. The role requires prioritizing PM and AM activities with the weekly schedule, understanding principle-centered mentor leadership, and humble questioning.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, management, supervisory, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS systems, preferably SAP PM, is also required. The Senior Mechanical Maintenance Manager must be team-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and have the ability to plan maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Cover all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and preventative types of maintenance on various production machinery
  • Troubleshoot, read electrical prints, and perform basic wiring up to 480 volts
  • Prioritize PM and AM activities with the weekly schedule
  • Understand principle-centered mentor leadership and humble questioning
  • Coach and qualify aspects of AM and PM activities with employees within the process
  • Coordinate and implement duties as advised by the owner of the process
  • Participate in team goal setting/implementation to ensure that we are a low-cost, high-quality producer
  • Ensure quality of our products and workplace by following all procedures and guidelines
Requirements
  • Frequent standing and walking required
  • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping
  • Operate Forklift, Scissor Lift, and JLG; Certified in LOTO
  • Excellent analytical, management, supervisory, and problem-solving skills
  • Must have the ability to plan maintenance schedules
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Proficiency in using CMMS systems, preferably SAP PM
  • Must be team-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
