Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-level patient-centered care, aligning with the goals and objectives of our organization to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
  2. Collaborate with the Endocrinology service line medical director and other leaders to oversee and organize the Endocrinology care program within the clinic.
  3. Implement best practice clinical standards in collaboration with administrative and clinical leaders.
  4. Join a network of experienced Endocrinologists and advanced practice providers working in community clinics throughout the system.
  5. Provide a full spectrum of care, including diagnosis and management of diabetes and osteoporosis, as well as disorders of the thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and parathyroid glands.
  6. Consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment and assess patient health, order, interpret, and monitor diagnostic tests and prescribe medications.
  7. Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as needed.
  8. Attend leadership meetings and participate in research and teaching opportunities as available.
Requirements
  1. Graduate of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship training program.
  2. Board certified with the ABIM in internal medicine and board eligible/certified in endocrinology.
  3. Licensed or ability to acquire a medical license and DEA in the State of Maryland and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileging.
  4. Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of the VISA.
