Quality Control Technician I

Dormakaba is seeking a Quality Control Technician I to join our team in Reamstown, PA. As a Quality Control Technician I, you will play a crucial role in improving internal and external customer experience through supplier product monitoring, inspection process improvements, and recording/analyzing returned goods and internal/external scrap generation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop inspection plans/control plans
  • Execute PPAPs (production Part Approval Process) for new parts
  • Collect/analyze data and populate weekly/monthly quality reports
  • Process RGAs (Returns Goods) and reduce waste through RGA and scrap reduction programs
  • Improve cost of quality ratios through waste reduction initiatives
  • Reduce non-conformance and provide regular reporting on rework and rejected material

Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1 year experience working in Quality Assurance
  • Experience with reading blueprint and GD&T
  • Experience in Microsoft Office 365
