Private Duty Nurse RN

Job Summary:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will be responsible for delivering individualized care to patients with complex medical needs, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage individualized care plans for patients with complex medical needs
- Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care coordination
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical care setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods
