About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Financial Consultant to join our team at Empower. As a Financial Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping our customers achieve their long-term financial goals by providing expert guidance and support in the area of retirement savings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized assistance to customers at key life moments, such as starting or ending employment, to help them make informed decisions about their employer-sponsored retirement account.
  • Discuss available account options, such as 401(k) and IRAs, to align with customers' retirement savings goals and provide education on the benefits of each option.
  • Educate customers on information specific to their retirement plan, comparing options to best support their savings goals and provide recommendations for optimal investment strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to understand their unique needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their financial objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in sales, preferably inside sales.
  • Current FINRA licenses and/or ability to successfully obtain FINRA 7 & 63 registrations within corporate-established timelines and complete FINRA fingerprinting upon hire.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to learn new information quickly and independently.
  • Demonstrated sales, relationship management, and customer service skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to engage with customers, ask questions, share thoughts, and offer solutions.
What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary range: $52,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year.

Work Environment

This is a remote position, and you will be required to provide reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and a dedicated workspace with limited disruption. You must have reliable connectivity from an internet service provider that is fiber, cable, or DSL internet. Other necessary computer equipment will be provided.
