Job Summary

Management Applications, Inc. is seeking highly skilled Network Management and Support Professionals to join our team in Charles City, VA. As a key member of our Network Operations Center (NOC), you will be responsible for providing network support and management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Outage Reporting and Service Restoration: Identify and report outages, and work towards restoring service in a timely manner.
  • Help Desk: Provide technical support and assistance to service providers and stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor network performance, manage congestion, and compile reports on key performance metrics.
  • Service Provisioning: Provision new services for service providers, and make changes and modifications to existing services as needed.
  • Order Management: Process service requests, coordinate with service providers, and track tasks and ticket status.
  • Network Inventory Management: Document fiber strand utilization, plan for capacity, and update inventory records.
  • Security: Maintain the security of the County network and appurtenances, and report any potential or actual security breaches.
  • Service Provider Management: Assist the County in managing its relationship with service providers, including negotiating contracts, maintaining service provider BNA, and providing customer and billing detail.
Requirements
  • CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network/Security+, and Help Desk Certifications.
  • 4-year degree preferred, but 2-year degrees with exceptional experience will be considered.
