Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Office Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative, front desk, and billing duties to ensure excellent quality of care to patients.
Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the medical team, including data entry, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, and collecting payments.
- Billing and Insurance: Verify insurance information, collect deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurance, and balance the cash drawer.
- Patient Communication: Communicate with patients, including confirming appointments, providing medical information, and addressing concerns.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the medical team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Education: Associate's degree or 2 years' experience in a healthcare administration setting.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and Google Chrome/Firefox.
- Coding and Typing: Knowledge of CPT/ICD 10 coding and 40 WPM typing speed.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability: Reliable transportation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
