About the Role

The Flight Operations Duty Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of daily flight operations. As a key member of the NetJets team, this individual will be responsible for maintaining operational control and interacting with a dynamic, multitype aircraft operation.

This role requires a strong aviation professional with a background in day-to-day operational demands. The successful candidate will oversee continuous improvement initiatives to deliver Service Excellence for Flight Operations through safety and compliance as it relates to the Flight Crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety of flight as it relates to the execution of the daily plan.
  • Collate relevant inputs from all available resources to aid the Flight Center team members in the efficient management of company assets.
  • Manage exceptions that cause deviations to the daily plan.
  • Advise on matters pertaining to safety, compliance, equipment, training, and crew members.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and specifications applicable to the safe and efficient operation of the flights in their assigned fleet.
  • Monitor daily crew and aircraft assignments.
  • Be available as a resource for any mission-critical issue that could hinder the successful outcome of any flight.
  • Promote teamwork among crew members and Flight Center personnel to provide consistent, reliable, and successful flight execution.
Requirements
  • Pilot license (CPL or ATPL)
  • FAA Flight Dispatcher License
  • Bachelor's in Aviation Management
  • 4-6 years of experience in aviation operations
  • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
  • Proactive decision making and problem solving
  • Available to be on-call 24/7 with company-provided communication device
