Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician - Oil Bay to join our team at Baldwin Paving Company, Inc. This is a full-time, corporate shop-based role in Marietta, GA, reporting to our Shop Foreman.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oil change and vehicle maintenance tasks, with a passion for solving problems and leading initiatives. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and adjustments on vehicles, including fluid levels, hoses, belts, brakes, tires, and clutches.
  • Diagnose problems, disassemble units, repair or replace parts, and reassemble units in various systems, including air brakes, radiators, and air conditioning systems.
  • Repair or replace fuses, batteries, lights, instruments, warning devices, controls, and switches, as well as computer controls and modules.
  • Maintain service logs and records of maintenance on vehicles and motorized equipment, using fleet maintenance and management software.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is highly preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician.
  • Proficiency in conducting research on the internet and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Driver's license is required.
Work Environment

This job typically operates in a busy shop environment, with frequent exposure to fumes, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee may work in increased temperature conditions during summer hours and/or cold temperatures throughout the year.
