IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily system backups review and documentation for local site and operating servers and network equipment.
- Assist network administrators with troubleshooting of network connectivity, server, and VOIP issues, and maintain correct Active Directory entries for desktops.
- Support office suite, Outlook email applications on desktops and other company-endorsed desktop and mobile applications.
- Provide first-level support for all non-SAP applications.
- Resolve hardware and software problems related to desktops and mobile devices.
- Maintain incident and service tickets, preferably using Service Now.
- Maintain Configuration Items (CI) in Computer Management Database (CMDB).
- Support production and office peripherals as needed.
- Act as a coordinator between IT, operations, and engineering regarding machine network connectivity and IoT applications.
- Maintain and update IoT device documentation relative to network components and login information.
- Maintain IoT and office device connections to the correct VLANs and networks.
- Serve as a liaison between the local business community and the broader IT organization, ensuring clear communication and alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives.
- Contribute to the execution of IT strategies and projects as a local IT project manager, aligning with the specific needs of the local production site.
- Technical School Diploma or Associates Degree in IT Administration or IT Technology.
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of practical experience.
- Technical certifications are preferred.
- Travel requirements up to 10% of time.
