SUMMARY
This role serves as a pivotal contributor in the procurement process, responsible for sourcing materials, components, equipment, and services essential for the organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To excel in this position, the individual must effectively manage the following responsibilities:
- Analyze MRP (Material Requirements Planning) proposals to confirm inventory levels, pricing, and delivery timelines, subsequently placing orders with suppliers.
- Input and validate supplier confirmations, ensuring any modifications are communicated to Customer Service and other stakeholders involved in Purchase Orders.
- Process non-inventory orders for approval in the designated format and execute orders accordingly.
- Monitor and expedite orders for missing or delayed parts with suppliers.
- Maintain and update the part number database.
- Organize and oversee purchasing activities for both service-related and non-service-related goods and services, which includes supplier research, selection, and negotiations regarding pricing, quality, delivery schedules, specifications, and contract management.
- Achieve departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize SAP effectively and understand its operational framework.
- Conduct basic analytical tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with a minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role within an industrial or office environment. Familiarity with customer support functions, company products, and the ability to perform well under pressure are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with MRP systems is preferred. A self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with customer service experience is ideal. Experience in a service-oriented industry is advantageous.

Reasoning Ability
The role involves assignments that are semi-routine, requiring the ability to identify deviations from accepted practices.
