Key Responsibilities:- Data Analysis: The primary responsibility includes analyzing biomass production and soil chemistry data from experimental studies aimed at evaluating the impact of various silvicultural practices on tree growth and nitrogen cycling.
- Manuscript Preparation: The selected candidate will lead the drafting of at least two scholarly articles for peer-reviewed journals, one centered on biomass production influenced by silvicultural treatments and another on nitrogen dynamics.
- Collaboration: Engage with fellow researchers to synthesize findings across studies and contribute to modeling efforts, while identifying additional research opportunities from existing datasets.
- Research Development: Explore avenues for new research initiatives, which will involve crafting proposals for funding to support both current and prospective projects.
A minimum of a baccalaureate degree in a relevant field is required. Candidates are encouraged to consult with the Human Resources office for an evaluation of their educational background and experience.
Physical Requirements:The role may require the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
