We are seeking a highly qualified Physician Assistant Educator to join our team at Loma Linda University Medical Center. As an Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies, you will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement curriculum for the Physician Assistant program, ensuring alignment with national standards and accreditation requirements.
- Teach and mentor students in clinical and didactic settings, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of assessment and evaluation tools to measure student learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote a culture of excellence and innovation in education.
- Stay current with advances in medical education and healthcare, incorporating best practices into teaching and program development.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in teaching and/or clinical practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Current certification through the NCCPA and licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff, and to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Doctoral degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
- Knowledge of educational technology and assessment tools.
