Job Title: Chef Class Instructor

We are seeking a charismatic and dynamic Chef Instructor to join our team at Taste Buds Kitchen. As a Chef Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching cooking classes and hosting private events in our state-of-the-art Kitchen Studio.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging cooking demonstrations and provide excellent client service following provided recipes and event guides.
  • Orchestrate and oversee a fun and inviting cooking class experience, ensuring a non-threatening and social environment for guests.
  • Work quickly and efficiently while managing a structured event timeline, ensuring the food taste, presentation, and service of the highest quality.
  • Supervise and contribute to the ongoing training and development of Event Assistants during shifts.
  • Manage event needs from start-to-finish, including room set-up, ingredient prep, seamless event execution, and thorough clean-up.
  • Market the company for future business and general goodwill by engaging and delighting guests.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of professional food, nutrition, or culinary experience, or a teaching background with proven passion and knowledge about cooking and baking skills.
  • Ability to command a room of 25+ students, with energy, excitement, and personality, to create an engaging event for periods of 2+ hours.
  • Strong time-management skills, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks.

This is a flexible part-time position for a minimum of 3 events/week with additional hours available, if desired. Hours are scheduled based on event needs, and schedules are published two weeks in advance.
