We are seeking a charismatic and dynamic Chef Instructor to join our team at Taste Buds Kitchen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging cooking classes and hosting private events in our state-of-the-art Kitchen Studio.
Responsibilities:- Orchestrate and oversee cooking class experiences with excellent client service, following provided recipes and event guides.
- Deliver group cooking demonstrations and provide table touches, teaching clients inspiring cooking tips and tricks in an informative yet approachable manner.
- Create a fun and inviting ambiance where guests learn in a non-threatening and social environment.
- Work quickly and efficiently while managing event timelines.
- Ensure the highest quality food taste, presentation, and service.
- Supervise and contribute to the ongoing training and development of Event Assistants during shifts.
- Create a controlled, safe, and clean environment.
- Manage event needs from start-to-finish, including room set-up, ingredient prep, event execution, and thorough clean-up.
- Market the company for future business and general goodwill by engaging and delighting guests.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of professional food, nutrition, or culinary experience, or a teaching background with proven passion and knowledge about cooking and baking skills.
- Ability to command a room of 25+ students with energy, excitement, and personality, creating an engaging event for periods of 2+ hours.
- Strong time-management skills, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks.

This is a flexible part-time position for a minimum of 3 events/week, with additional hours available if desired. Hours are scheduled based on event needs, with schedules published two weeks in advance.
