About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weekend Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Inc. in Knoxville, IA. As a Weekend Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients and their guests while adhering to our core values: Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patrols throughout the shift to ensure the safety and security of our clients' premises.
  • Interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner, providing assistance and support as needed.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, using conflict resolution and de-escalation skills to resolve issues.
  • Perform access control duties, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Standard computer/technology skills needed
  • Reliable, accountable, punctual, and strong work ethic
  • Strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal/written communication
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus
  • Customer service background preferred
