Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage the efficient processing of customer payments. This role involves ensuring accuracy in handling account information, generating invoices, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication abilities, excellent mathematical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoicing: Timely preparation and dispatch of invoices to clients.
  • Payment Processing: Accurately recording incoming payments and ensuring proper allocation to customer accounts.
  • Collections: Engaging with clients regarding overdue invoices through various communication channels to secure outstanding payments, including negotiating payment arrangements and resolving disputes.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintaining precise and current records of customer accounts, tracking outstanding balances and payment histories.
  • Reconciliation: Ensuring alignment between invoices and payments, maintaining the integrity of financial records.
  • Customer Service: Addressing client inquiries related to their accounts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaboration: Coordinating with other departments to gather necessary information, keep accounts updated, and assist in the development of repayment strategies.
  • Reporting: Creating reports on accounts receivable aging for management review.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline
  • Prior experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar capacity
  • Proficient in Excel and accounting software
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and best practices
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Commitment to precision and attention to detail
