Technical Service and Application Development Scientist

Chemours is seeking a skilled Technical Service and Application Development Scientist to contribute to the growth of our melt-processable Fluoropolymers business. As a key member of our Advanced Performance Materials team, you will provide technical support to customers, collaborate with global teams, and develop sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and introducing new products
- Collaborate with global teams to exchange experiences and develop new product prototypes
- Work with vendors to procure materials and develop laboratory equipment
- Assist in product complaint investigations and document results
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in polymer, chemical, mechanical, or materials engineering/science
- Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
- Ability to travel to customer sites (up to 30%)
- Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to diagnose and solve problems
Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge and experience of extrusion processes utilizing fluoropolymersWorking knowledge of fluoropolymer fundamentals-
