Become a Personal Trainer at Equinox

 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Personal Trainer to join our team at Equinox. As an Equinox Personal Trainer, you will have the opportunity to develop and refine your approach to programming, education, business, and financial planning.

You will be guided by two dedicated managers who will support your growth as a Personal Trainer and professional. Your role will involve building and maintaining an active client base, managing schedules, delivering exceptional service, and attending Continuing Education classes to elevate your knowledge and qualifications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies to build and maintain an active client base.
  • Scheduling and Time Management: Effectively manage and maintain accurate schedules, inclusive of client appointments, meetings, and open availability within our internal scheduling systems.
  • Service Delivery: Provide exceptional fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other complimentary services for members, while interacting with members to enhance their workouts and overall club experience.
  • Professional Development: Continuously attend Continuing Education classes to elevate knowledge and qualify for promotions, while maintaining strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Certification and Experience: Current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one through certification reimbursement program, with eligibility to begin a higher Tier & pay rate based on previous experience and education (Degree in the field).
  • Skills and Abilities: Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness, with ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends, strong verbal and written communication skills, effective time management and organizational skills, basic computer and technology skills, and energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful demeanor.

Salary Range: $39.50-$70 per session; $16/hr (non-session work); ability to earn additional incentive bonuses.
