About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Vice President, Chief Credit Officer to join our Executive Leadership team at the Assemblies of God Credit Union. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the credit function and ensuring the credit union's financial stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and credit union goals.
  • Manage and oversee the credit risk assessment process, including credit scoring models and loan grading.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate credit losses and improve credit quality.
  • Review and approve complex loan transactions, ensuring compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective credit risk management and credit union operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a management position in the credit union or banking industry, with a focus on credit risk management.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective credit policies and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment models and loan grading techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
