As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our building, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Ensure all areas of the building, including floors, bathrooms, common areas, kitchens, private offices, production areas, classrooms, locker rooms, entrances, and walkways outside the facility, are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.
- Daily Tasks: Perform daily cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, replacing paper supplies, picking up trash, waxing floors, emptying trash, and other related duties as assigned.
- Building Security: Ensure building security by locking doors after hours and checking electrical appliance use to prevent hazards.
- Light Maintenance: Perform light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or furnace filters, and removing snow.
- Equipment and Supply Management: Report equipment or supply needs and unsafe conditions to supervisor and maintain accurate records of tasks and activities.
- Training and Development: Attend training sessions as needed to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, and to stand for long periods of time.
