About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Vocational Adjustment Services Worker to join our team at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will design, implement, and evaluate vocational adjustment programs for residents that promote recovery and rehabilitation. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive rehabilitative treatment and monitor results. Your responsibilities will include preparing referrals for other therapeutic services, maintaining accurate clinical records, and participating in facility training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement vocational adjustment programs for residents that promote recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive rehabilitative treatment and monitor results.
  • Prepare referrals for other therapeutic services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
  • Participate in facility training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Four years of experience in the field of Vocational Adjustment Services for individuals with mental or physical illness or handicaps.
  • Graduation from a four-year college or university with major coursework in Vocational Rehabilitation, Vocational Education, or Counseling, or a related Human Services field.
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
