Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all food items in accordance with facility protocols and safe food handling practices
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the supervisor
- Prepare food items following standardized recipes while adhering to safe food handling procedures
- Support the setup of the food tray line
- Assemble diet trays and deliver tray carts to dining areas or designated units
- Clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in line with facility standards
- Participate in dishwashing operations and general cleaning duties
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
- Preferred experience of at least one year in a food service role within an institutional setting
