Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring a defect-free product by conducting audits and inspections of production kits and documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to follow AQL standards and quality inspection procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect quality of finished production kits and documentation of disposition
Follow all AQL standards and quality inspection procedures
Change kit status in database
Learn defects of parts and tolerance levels to disposition acceptable/unacceptable parts
Notify lead of quality concerns
Prioritize work such as expedites and same day shipping
Work at a steady pace without sacrificing quality
Log production scrap and extra parts in scrap tracker and extra parts tracker
Add kit audit information to audit tracker
Transport audited kits to finish goods

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge of Microsoft Word Processing software, Microsoft Spreadsheet software, and Microsoft Database software
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's

Work Environment:

The work environment is moderate with a focus on quality assurance and control. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
