Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment. As a critical care nurse, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide wound care as needed.
  • Monitor and report patient vital signs, lab results, and other critical information to ensure timely interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least 1 year of ICU experience, preferably in a cardiac or neurological ICU.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
