The 25-bed unit at Wayne Hospital handles a diverse range of patients, including Bariatric patients/surgeries, medical patients, and surgical patients. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will be part of a team that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical Surgical Unit. In this role, you will utilize the nursing process to provide professional care, incorporating patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients. You will work under the direction of the Nurse Leader, adhering to Corewell Health policies and procedures, and recognize the impact of nursing care on patient outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A current Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 5 years
  • At least one year of acute care experience for graduates from non-accredited schools of nursing
