About Our Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Medical Oncology Specialist to join our team at Wayne Health Services Inc. Located in Detroit, Michigan, this exciting opportunity offers a chance to provide high-quality patient care and advance medical knowledge.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of blood diseases and cancers such as iron-deficiency anemia, hemophilia, sickle-cell disease, leukemia, and lymphoma. This role requires strong communication skills, with the ability to consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment and recommend tests to determine the extent of illness or diagnose conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnosis and Treatment: Responsible for diagnosing and treating blood diseases and cancers.
  • Patient Consultation: Consults with patients to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Test Recommendations: Recommends and orders tests to determine the extent of illness or diagnose conditions.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Requires a Doctor of Medicine (M.D) or foreign educational equivalent.
  • Licensure: Must have a valid Physician License in the State of Michigan.
  • Certification: Must be BE/BC in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $250,000 - $300,000, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
