Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Essentia Health in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and lead patient care teams in various clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and deliver comprehensive care by managing all phases of the patient care process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Act as a team leader by delegating care responsibilities to nursing staff based on their licensure, training, and role specifications.
  • Play a crucial role in advancing the facility's and Essentia's mission and goals, making a meaningful impact on the community we serve.
  • Adhere to the standards set by the Joint Commission and other relevant federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
What You'll Get to Do in This Role

As a Float Pool Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in multiple areas of the hospital, covering shifts and providing care wherever there is a need. This role requires adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to work in diverse clinical environments.

Requirements
  • Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year.
