Registered Nurse

Job Description As a Registered Nurse in our Med/Surg Unit, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with various medical conditions, including orthopedic post-operative patients, fracture and repair cases, post-surgical patients, and medical overflow patients. You will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities
Lead patient care by managing all phases of the patient care process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Guide and delegate care responsibilities to nursing staff based on their licensure, training, and role specifications.
Contribute to a greater mission by advancing the facility's and Essentia's mission and goals, making a meaningful impact on the community we serve.
Ensure compliance with the standards set by the Joint Commission and other relevant federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
Our Unit Cares for
Orthopedic post-operative patients, including those recovering from total knee, hip, and shoulder replacements.
Fracture and repair cases, general fractures, as well as tendon and ligament repairs.
Post-surgical patients, following back and neck surgeries, urological procedures, abdominal procedures, and ENT surgeries.
Medical overflow patients, providing care for patients requiring additional medical support beyond standard unit capacity.
Shift and Schedule
60 hours per pay period.
Every third weekend.
Rotating 12-hour shifts.
Day shift: 7:00AM - 7:30PM.
Overnight shift: 7:00PM - 7:30AM.
