We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Education Program Specialist to join our team at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Key Responsibilities- Program Development and Support: Develop and implement signature community building activities, oversee budget expenditures, and communicate with faculty involved in programs.
- Student Recruitment and Oversight: Recruit new UMD students to participate in programs, hire UMD students, and track paperwork completion and raises.
- Instruction and Outreach: Teach UST 1000 courses for Sustainability LLC and Transfer Students, maintain publicity via website and social media.
We are looking for a candidate with a BA/BS in a relevant field and 3 or more years of related professional experience. Knowledge of principles and methods, or a related master's degree with proven ability to perform the job, is required. Preferred qualifications include demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills, ability to work effectively with diverse populations, and experience working with students directly in programmatic efforts.
