Installation Project Manager

At Allegion Access Technologies LLC, we're seeking an experienced Installation Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you'll be responsible for managing all installation projects from start to finish. This includes acting as a project manager for installation jobs, ordering materials and supplies, scheduling installers, and coordinating with customers to ensure job-site readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all installation projects and act as a project manager for installation jobs.
  2. Create job files from information provided through order entry.
  3. Make initial contact with customers and coordinate installation schedules for automatic doors.
  4. Work with sales personnel and customers to address special installation requirements.
  5. Schedule installations to meet contractors' desired installation dates.
  6. Keep up with changes in jobs and schedule requested on-site meetings and walk-throughs.
  7. Perform pre-job on-site checks when necessary.
  8. Work with sales personnel to inform them of needed change orders, if necessary.
  9. Order all necessary materials for installations in a timely manner.
  10. Issue STOs or POs for materials needed for installations.
  11. Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager on Class II and Class III materials.
  12. Work with the factory on Class I material-related issues.
  13. Communicate material-related issues to sales personnel and work with them and customers as needed.
  14. Maintain schedules and review them daily with the Warehouse Manager to ensure jobs are pulled for technicians as required.
  15. Schedule installation technicians according to job-site readiness.
  16. Coordinate special timing requirements with customers or special needs, such as pre-job or on-site safety meetings.
  17. Review schedules as needed with the Construction Manager and Sales Personnel.
  18. Obtain detailed information from technicians when jobs are not completed the same day on the progress of the jobs.
  19. Ensure paperwork is properly filled out by technicians, including JCS, Door ID sheets, and any special payment forms required.
  20. Verify that jobs are completed according to company policy and Sarbanes-Oxley.
  21. Review inventory used with technicians and make any necessary adjustments on the Sales Order in SAP.
  22. Enter Door IDs into SAP with warranty and door location information.
  23. Send JCS to the corporate billing department and maintain the billing database.
  24. When necessary, coordinate partial billings with the Construction Manager and submit partial billing approvals to the corporate billing department. Once approved, deliver partial billings to prepare them for billing and add to the billing database.
  25. Monitor the billing database to ensure all billings have cleared.

Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Coordinator experience in a construction or industrial environment.
  3. Excellent computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Strong attention to detail and excellent multi-tasking ability.

Additional Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or Marketing.
  2. Project Management or Finance Background.
  3. SAP Experience.
