About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Manager to join our team at Amgen. As a Data Manager, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing data related to our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the integration of CMMS data with other business systems to provide a comprehensive view of maintenance operations.
  • Act as the in-house data steward/owner for Amgen's EAM/CMMS database and reporting tools.
  • Develop and implement data validation, clean-up, and adherence to enterprise data standards and business requirements.
  • Improve the methods and ways in which Amgen's facilities and equipment maintenance program obtains and analyzes data.
  • Identify digital solutions to improve efficiencies within the Maintenance business processes.
  • Support and assist the business in achieving maximum value from the EAM/CMMS system.
  • Analyze maintenance data generated by the EAM/CMMS to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize maintenance schedules.
  • Develop and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree OR Master's degree and 2 years of relevant experience managing EAM/CMMS data reporting and analytics, or maintenance engineering experience OR Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience managing EAM/CMMS data reporting and analytics, or maintenance engineering experience OR Associate's degree and 8 years of relevant experience managing EAM/CMMS data reporting and analytics, or maintenance engineering experience OR High school diploma/GED and 10 years of relevant experience managing EAM/CMMS data reporting and analytics, or maintenance engineering experience
  • Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering
  • Experience with data system development and management. Knowledge of EAM/CMMS Systems
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Data analytics skills and proficiency in systems (Maximo, SAP, Excel, Brio, Tableau, and/or Python)
