Job Summary:

As a Contract Manager II Indirect and Services Contracts, you will be responsible for managing and performing all activities related to the development, negotiation, and administration of contracts. This role requires a high level of expertise in contract administration and a strong understanding of Gulfstream's overall business strategy and corporate policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and negotiate contractual documents, including letters of intent and agreements, in accordance with established processes and procedures.
  2. Serve as a consultant to management and internal/external customers on major matters related to contracts and assist in the development of strategies and resulting agreements.
  3. Initiate and manage the preparation of documents necessary to fulfill contract requirements, analyze customer and/or supplier requirements, and develop controls to anticipate/identify and monitor contractual performance.
  4. Maintain continuous surveillance of contract performance and recommend corrective actions to ensure conformance with contract obligations.
  5. Interact with internal/external customers, suppliers, and their representatives to identify, recommend, and implement solutions for potential contractual issues and requirements.
  6. Provide subject-matter expertise and assistance to prepare documentation and checklists and coordinate with internal/external customers and outside parties as necessary.
  7. Ensure internal/external customer and/or supplier satisfaction with the contracting process, contract performance, and delivery.
  8. Proactively assist in developing and implementing new/improving existing policies and practices to address changing internal and external contracting requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Must have solid negotiating skills.
  2. Working knowledge of contracts pricing and finance.
  3. Strong leadership, team skills, and problem-solving ability required.
  4. Must have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Must have a high level of proven computer literacy.
