Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at the JWCH Downtown Hotel (DTLA) Housing Program. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to homeless individuals in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by the treating Physician and care team.
  • Conduct nursing assessments and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold regulatory compliance standards.
  • Provide patient education and support patients' self-management goals.
  • Delegate tasks to medical assistants and assist medical personnel with procedures and diagnostic exams.
Requirements
  • Current and valid California LVN License.
  • Current BLS card from the American Heart Association.
  • At least one-year experience in an ambulatory care setting.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Proficient in performing basic nursing skills, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with activities of daily living.
