About the Role

Envision Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Educator to join our team of academic leaders. As a Science Educator, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students and contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Adapt, internalize, and develop lesson and unit plans aligned to our network curriculum.
  • Professional Development: Participate in regular professional development and coaching cycles to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Classroom Management: Develop a strong sense of community and belonging in the classroom, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Differentiated Instruction: Leverage student-facing data to differentiate instruction for diverse learners, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed.
  • Advisory Program: Serve as an advisor and teach daily advisory curriculum, providing guidance and support to students outside of the regular classroom setting.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with grade-level and department teams to share best practices, develop curriculum, and support student learning.
  • Family Engagement: Build strong relationships with families, communicating regularly and providing updates on student progress.
Qualifications
  • Education: A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree.
  • Credentials: Valid California Teaching Credential or out-of-state equivalent with the ability to transfer required.
  • Experience: Demonstrated success working with parents and families, especially Black, African American, Latine/a/o/x, and immigrant families.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual Spanish speakers preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

This opportunity may include a one-time $5,000 signing bonus for hard-to-fill roles. Our total compensation package includes:

  • Annual Starting Salary Range: $62,424 - $100,604, dependent upon years of aligned experience and credentials.
  • Additional Supplements: Special Education: $5,000, Second Credential: $500, Masters Degree: $3,500, Doctorate: $2,000, Board Certification: $5,000, Lead Learning Specialist (SPED): $10,000.
  • Leadership Stipends: Instructional Lead Team: $5,000, Grade Level Lead Team: $5,000, Summer Professional Development: $250/day.
