Our division supports individuals pursuing degrees in various health-related fields, including occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech pathology, physician assistant studies, athletic training, public health, and performing arts medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical instruction and oversight
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students
- Engage in recruitment of clients and clinical supervisors
- Participate in relevant scholarly activities
- Contribute to program, school, and university committees as needed
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Program Director or Assistant Program Director
Essential Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Doctorate preferred)
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Eligibility for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- A minimum of three years of full-time experience post-CCC-SLP
- Compliance with ASHA standards for clinical supervision
- Experience working with diverse clients across various settings
- Strong relationship management and problem-solving abilities
- In-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape, including examination and inquiry processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic remote environment
- Project management expertise
- Outstanding organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to identify issues and propose solutions
