Senior Electrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrician to join our team at Fareva USA. As a Senior Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in our facility.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including power distribution systems, lighting systems, and control systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and defects.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including overhauls and repairs of motors, starters, and other equipment.
• Select and use appropriate tools and materials for required work.
• Estimate necessary materials and equipment to complete assignments.
• Develop innovative solutions to resolve problems and improve efficiency.
• Lay out and install new wiring, run conduit, pull, splice, and terminate wiring, bend and shape conduit to specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, blueprints, and sketches.
• Work with engineers to drive standardization of electrical hardware, PLC programs, electrical documentation, and over-current protection.
• Assist in the hiring and training of new electricians.
• Assist engineers in selecting and overseeing electrical contractors.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years experience as an electrician in an industrial environment.
• Expertise in trouble shooting electrical equipment and systems.
• Thorough understanding of the National Electric Code.
• Knowledge of UPS systems, emergency generators, fire and security alarm systems, electronic lighting control systems.
• Knowledge of computer equipment and software applications related to assignment to include: Allen Bradley SLC 504, Micrologix 1500 (minimum 3 years experience).
• Requires timely decision making and prioritization of work. Must have the ability to organize data and to communicate effectively.
• Effective leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of medium and high voltage systems.
• Must demonstrate initiative and foster team cooperation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and demonstrate flexibility.
• Able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and take initiative on specific issues.
