Job Summary

As an Electrical Superintendent at MasTec Inc., you will play a crucial role in coordinating construction projects on-site, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and delegate site activities to achieve deadlines and production goals.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials, verify quantities, and document any damage.
  • Monitor paper flow, ensure all documents are complete, legible, and filed or distributed accordingly.
  • Plan ahead and order necessary materials or equipment to maintain crew productivity.
  • Investigate and resolve contract disputes, making recommendations to upper management.
  • Recommend best practice improvements for production, performance, quality, and safety.
  • Understand specifications, blueprints, addendums, and change orders.
  • Perform minor job layout with levels, transit, and string line.
  • Check quality of completed work and monitor productivity reports.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
Requirements
  • Five years' experience/knowledge in a supervisory role in heavy industrial construction.
  • Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project-specific regulations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within timelines.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer experience with Microsoft Office, email, and internet.
