Job Summary

Ottawa University is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Electrical Engineering courses. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Electrical Engineering and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Electrical Engineering courses to undergraduate and graduate students
  • Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Stay current with developments in Electrical Engineering and incorporate new knowledge into the curriculum
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, with a strong background in teaching and curriculum development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with online course platforms, such as Blackboard
  • Experience with Zoom, Skype, or WebEx
