Job Summary

Ottawa University is seeking qualified candidates for Adjunct Instructor positions in various disciplines. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in your area of expertise, developing and delivering engaging lesson plans and assessments.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering student growth and success.
  • Stay current with developments in your field, incorporating relevant research and best practices into your teaching.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and university staff to ensure a cohesive and effective academic experience.
Requirements
  • Earned Doctorate or Master's degree in a related field, with 18+ graduate credit hours in the discipline being taught.
  • Five years of academic and professional teaching experience within the teaching content.
  • Experience with Blackboard or other similar online course platforms.
  • Experience with Zoom, Skype, or WebEx.
