Rehabilitation Therapy Aide at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation

We are looking for a dedicated full-time orthopedic rehabilitation aide to become part of our enthusiastic and expanding team. The ideal candidate should possess a high level of energy, be capable of managing multiple tasks, demonstrate adaptability, and show a willingness to learn while contributing positively to the team atmosphere. Previous experience in a technical role is advantageous but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute patient-related duties as directed by the supervising therapist
  • Assist patients with mobility activities and the application/removal of therapeutic devices
  • Position patients appropriately in parallel bars and support them during various treatment procedures
  • Facilitate the transportation of patients to and from therapy sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school education or equivalent
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion within the initial 90 days of employment
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting as a therapy aide is preferred
