Large Language Model Trainer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Large Language Model Trainer to join our team and contribute to the development of industry-leading LLMs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing novel algorithms and modeling techniques that will push the boundaries of large model training using cutting-edge hardware.
About the Role: The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience and a strong background in machine learning. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of key platforms needed for developing, evaluating, and deploying LLMs for real-world applications.
About Us: Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace and offers a comprehensive benefits package. Our base pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year to $261,500/year depending on the location. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of our total compensation package.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement novel algorithms and modeling techniques for large model training
- Develop and maintain key platforms for developing, evaluating, and deploying LLMs
- Work with cross-functional teams to investigate design approaches, prototype new technologies, and evaluate technical feasibility
- Leverage Amazon's heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate development with multi-modal LLMs and other Generative Artificial Intelligence applications
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, and excellent communication and leadership skills.
