We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staffing and Development Coordinator to join our team at Regent Care Center of Kingwood. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for ensuring adequate staffing levels, managing employee schedules, and facilitating staff development programs.
Key Responsibilities- Staffing Management: Schedule nursing staff within budgeted parameters, monitor daily census, and maintain tardy and absenteeism calendars.
- Schedule Coordination: Complete monthly nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units and management of overtime within budget.
- Staff Development: Interview applicants for nursing department positions, perform miscellaneous duties related to staffing, and assist nursing supervisory personnel as needed.
- Quality Orientation: Facilitate quality orientation programs by communicating new hire orientation schedules to unit managers and staff.
- Employee Engagement: Create and maintain a positive and calm environment throughout the facility.
- Competitive compensation and benefit package for Full Time employees, including PTO, paid holidays, medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, flexible spending for medical and dependent care, and 401(k) matching contributions up to 4%.

- High school education or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred but not required.
- Previous experience required; long term care experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.
