Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staffing and Development Coordinator to join our team at Regent Care Center of Kingwood. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for ensuring adequate staffing levels, managing employee schedules, and facilitating staff development programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing Management: Schedule nursing staff within budgeted parameters, monitor daily census, and maintain tardy and absenteeism calendars.
  • Schedule Coordination: Complete monthly nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units and management of overtime within budget.
  • Staff Development: Interview applicants for nursing department positions, perform miscellaneous duties related to staffing, and assist nursing supervisory personnel as needed.
  • Quality Orientation: Facilitate quality orientation programs by communicating new hire orientation schedules to unit managers and staff.
  • Employee Engagement: Create and maintain a positive and calm environment throughout the facility.
