Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting our healthcare team. Your primary responsibilities will include administering medications, taking vital signs, and observing patients to detect any adverse reactions.

Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN)
  • Present medication to patients and observe ingestion or administer medication using specified procedures
  • Take vital signs or observe patients to detect response to medication, and report reactions
  • Restock medication inventories
  • May provide direct patient care and ensure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations
