The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Bullhead City, Arizona, is seeking a dedicated Retail Operations Supervisor. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, effective staff management abilities, and solid administrative expertise. This role is eligible for benefits, including vacation, sick leave, health insurance, vision coverage, life insurance, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a welcoming store environment, ensuring that merchandise is organized, priced, and displayed appropriately.
- Oversee daily operations and workflow of Thrift Store personnel, including drivers.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store.
- Manage financial records, including income and expenses, and ensure timely submission of employee timesheets.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficient in cash register operations.
- Strong people management skills.
- Effective staff supervision capabilities.
- Basic administrative skills.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
Physical Requirements:
Qualified candidates must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation. Individuals with disabilities may request modifications to meet physical requirements. The Salvation Army will strive to accommodate reasonable requests without causing undue hardship.
While performing job duties, employees are regularly required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach with hands and arms. The role involves lifting and/or moving items weighing up to 20 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Proficiency in operating a telephone, desktop or laptop computer, and understanding written information is essential.
